貓的咖啡色

Last Saturday I went to see the Vivienne Westwood's exhibition with my creative writing teacher, Tracy.
She brought one of her friend, Roddy. (I am not sure how to spell.)
Tracy told us that her friend went to diving the day before.
That's why he was peeling, not from strange skin diseases.

After I got home on that day, I found out somewhere on my arms are peeling, too.
I am peeling because of the sunburn in the summer vacation or of the changing weather, I wondered.
That's interesting.

Mom said it's the sunburn.
But why wasn't I peeling until now?
Can anybody tell me why?
